AIM Server Hosted on My Own Private Network

I miss when talking online was intentional. You had to Go Online as if the internet was a place away from where you were. You log in and chat. When you log off, you are not reachable. Isn't that nice?

See here for info on AIM project. Install the AIM Client on your computer and then configure the host settings to connect to the server that I am hosting. If you don't join, it's okay. But just know I'll cry if no one joins.

Installing the AIM client on mac is actually pretty easy. Read this article and follow the instructions. Don't be afraid of the step woth the terminal. After you paste it in, it'll ask for the password, which is just the pin you use to sign into your laptop when you log in.
